Qurban Project
Qurban Project is a charitable initiative conducted during Eid al-Adha, where animals are sacrificed according to Islamic principles. The meat is then distributed to poor, vulnerable, and deserving families, enabling them to benefit from the blessings of Qurban while promoting generosity, compassion, and community solidarity.
Through the Qurban Project, Al Rahmah International Foundation (RIF) will facilitate the implementation of Qurban in accordance with Islamic principles, enabling donors to contribute towards the sacrifice of eligible livestock during Eid al-Adha. The project will focus on supporting vulnerable and underserved Islamic communities by providing fresh Qurban meat to low-income families, orphans, widows, refugees, elderly people, and other deserving beneficiaries. RIF aims to ensure that the blessings of Qurban reach communities that may otherwise have limited access to nutritious meat during Eid.
RIF will work closely with trusted local partners, Islamic organizations, community leaders, volunteers, and donors to identify beneficiaries, coordinate the purchase and sacrifice of animals, and ensure fair and hygienic distribution of Qurban meat. With a strong commitment to transparency and accountability, RIF will provide donors with confidence that their contributions are managed responsibly. Beyond food distribution, the Qurban Project will strengthen Islamic brotherhood, encourage generosity, support community welfare, and promote compassion and solidarity among Muslims in need.
